Hello and welcome...
This page will be about sailing the Bianca 107 DEN31, Cool Blue. I am not (yet) sure what will be here. Probably tips, tricks, trim and other notes. Maybe there'll even be few shots from out there. Like this one...

After 35 years of racing in the Aphrodite 101 - 23 of these with my own boat, I finally decided to switch from racer to cruiser. I used to blog stuff from the 101 class. Did so from 1999, so it kinda feels natural to go on with the 107.
Dunno what a 101 is? Well, have a look...

It doesn't get much prettier than that imho.
The 107 was designed by the same designer, so it feels like an Aphrodite 101+. Yeah, I know there is a mega Aphrodite - the Bianca 414. She is an upscaled version of the 101, but the 107 is somewhere inbetween. Sort of.
Anyway. This site will be different from the 101 site as I expect to meet other types of challenges with the 107. The 101 was primarily used for racing, whereas - for now - I don't really plan to race the 107. Honestly, the game plan is upside down. With the 101 it was all about removing stuff or replacing stuff with lighter versions. With the 107... not so much. I suppose I'll still replace stuff with lighter versions from time to time, but mostly it is about how to find room for as much cruising gear as possible.
Trust me... there's a lot more room for cruising stuff in a 107.
